About us

Family Health Isis was developed out of a desire to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Since its inception, we have worked hard to provide support where it's most needed.

Family Health Isis is a community organisation with a day centre based in the London Borough of Lewisham. We provide a range of community Health Services to black African and African Caribbean people who live and work in the borough of Lewisham.

Family Health Isis was founded in June 1986 by a group of Mental Health professionals, services users and community workers and was initially launched as

The Black Mental Health Group.
